Celebrity Style TheNarrowShoe.com Way: Steal the Style!
The Look in Narrow: Mila Kunis - Remember that television show “The Look for Less,” which recreated a high-end look at a low-end price? We thought we’d create our own variation on that theme in our newest blog category: Celebrity Style the Narrow Shoe Way-The Look in Narrow. With the help of our new sister blog, called Celebrity Style the Narrow Shoe Way, this new “look in narrow” is all about finding celebrity style inspiration from the narrow shoes on up. Now, not only can we show you our picks for narrow width shoe alternatives to the shoes the celebs wear (which, of course typically aren’t narrow), we can inspire you with a lower-end alternative to their stylish outfits, as well.
The Look in Narrow – Mila Kunis

HOLLYWOOD, CA – FEBRUARY 13: Actress Mila Kunis arrives for the world premiere of Walt Disney Pictures’ “Oz The Great And Powerful.”
Mila Kunis looked elegant on the yellow brick road as she posed for photographers before the Premiere Of Walt Disney Pictures’ “Oz The Great And Powerful” premiere. She wore an ecru Dolce and Gabbana flared skirt dress along with a beautiful pair of silver Christian Louboutin satin peep-toes with bow accent. An updo complemented beautiful purple Sutra statement drop earrings.
Our celebrity style the narrow shoe way look includes an off the rack Dolce and Gabbana Convertable Floral Print Dress with a similar siloutte and a high price ($8,775–we haven’t found a lower priced dress yet that compares, but when we do we’ll update this post!), which we would pair with shoes from Stuart Weitzman’s evening collection.

Dolce and Gabbana Convertable Floral Print Dress
The Marimbow, pictured below (click on the shoe to get more information) is available in narrow at Zappos.com. It’s also available in narrow at Footnotesonline.com and Jildorshoes.com. You can click on these links to get more information and buy directly from them, as well.
Though the Marimbow has a differently shaped bow, we think it adds just the right touch to the outfit. By clicking on the image of the Marimbo to the left, you can get information about these shoes or chose a plain peep-toe like the ones the model wears. Similarly, if you’re looking for a special dress, you can get information about this Dolce and Gabbana Convertable Floral Print Dress by clicking on the blue link and search for more lovely dresses at neimanmarcus.com, as well.
The Look in Narrow: Camilla Belle
While the U.S. Open men’s final was suspended on Monday due to gloomy weather, Camilla Belle’s white floral dress, accessories and shoes were anything but! Her crisp and summery looking white floral dress, paired with the rich brown tones in her belt and bag and cute red ballet flats blended fabulously for a delightful early autumn day. How would we re-create her style the narrow shoe way? By adding adorable red ballet flats in our narrow width, of course!

The sweet pleat at the toe and smooth lining with cushioning featuring the Naturalizer N5 Comfort System will make this a ballet flat you’ll want to wear a day long. The non-slip outsole and half inch heel will make it a go-toe shoe for an outfit like this, your favorite neutral colored trousers, jeans and skirts, too! The Look in Narrow: Matt Lauer
We like Matt Lauer here at TheNarrowShoe.com. We think he’s great on the Today Show, he has a great style sense and we think he might be “one of us,” a person who wears a narrow shoe width! Look at these pics and you might just agree. We’ve read that Zegna is his clothing designer. If he has as much trouble buying shoes as we do, Zegna might design his shoes for him, too. However, if he were to buy shoes from our site, here’s what we’d suggest for him!
04/24/12: Journalist Matt Lauer attends the TIME 100 Gala celebrating TIME’S 100 Most Influential People in the World list party at the Time Warner Center in New York.
Pictured here in an elegant black suit and black oxfords (instead of the brown one’s he favors on the show) here’s what we’d choose for him:

At the Today 60th Anniversary Show Celebration on January 13, 2012, Matt, Ann, Natalie and Al posed together. Matt and Al seem to have the same signature style dark suits with brown oxfords.
We love the Park Avenue above in brown, too. You can find it at Zappos.com and you can find it along with even more brown and black oxfords in AAA (3A), AA (2A), A and B at Allen Edmonds Men’s Shoes. In fact, right now, they’re celebrating their 90th anniversary with a sale! Don’t wait, Matt, it ends Monday, April 30, 2012!

On the set with Savannah Guthrie during the Summer, Matt wore white Bucks. We couldn’t find a square-toed buck but we like these just as well. We hope Matt would like them, too!

Here’s a pic of Matt wearing his signature brown oxfords with and his wife. It looks like the shoes she’s wearing might be a little wide for her! Maybe she need a narrow width too? We’re happy to make some recommendations!
Red Carpet Narrow Shoe Look – Octavia Spencer’s Todashi Shoji Dress & Narrow Peep-Toe Pumps
According to InStyle magazine, the customized hand-beaded, ivory silk tulle Tadashi Shoji gown, worn by the award winning actress, took 1,000 hours of work, a team of 10, and six fittings to get the gown to the red carpet. Wow! For our celebrity look the narrowshoe.com way we chose this ready-to-wear Todashi Shoji dress.
We’d complete the look with the Vaneli Madora, a narrow width peep-toe pump available in 2A (AA), 3A (AAA) and 4A (AAAA). Click on the pump to buy direct!
